Hi, I'm Chris Rakeman, a Jazz Bassist attending Ithaca College!

I'm currently attending Ithaca College, studying Music Education, with a Jazz Studies Minor.

At Ithaca, I am very fortunate to work with several fantastic collaborators, and explore music in new and exciting ways.

I am currenlty studying bass with Tristen Jarvis, Professor of Bass at Ithaca. I am also studying Jazz and Improvisation with Aaron Staebell, Lecturer of Drumset and Jazz Studies.
